Not a government office or records custodian. This is a private reference site. We cannot retrieve records, issue certified copies, confirm a person's address, or alter an official roll. Ask the office that holds the record for those services. Call 911 for an emergency. If someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local police.
Finding the Right Record Office
Use the route that matches the record. For parcel or recorded-land questions, start with By Street. Historical volume and household questions belong with City Directories. A name-specific official-record workflow is outlined in Resident Lookup. The Manheim Township records offices section identifies the wider county and state custodians.
Manheim Township records desk: 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601. Phone: 717-569-6408. Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The township records page directs Administration, Code Compliance, Finance, Fire Rescue, Planning and Zoning, Public Library, Public Works, Recreation and Park Planning, and other departments through its designated records officer. Formal open-records requests may use the township's Right-to-Know and JustFOIA route, or the written request channels described there.
Police records are separate: Manheim Township assigns police records to Sergeant Barry Waltz, Jr. The police station is at 1825 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601, phone 717-569-6401. Do not send a police-record question to the general records desk when the Police Department is the custodian.
For material that is not posted online, make a focused request for a named record, time frame, department, property address, or party name. Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, governs the township process. The township says requests can be submitted in person, by email, mail, or fax, and identifies JustFOIA as the preferred electronic channel. It generally has five business days to respond unless the statutory extension process applies.
