Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This service is not a consumer reporting agency as the Fair Credit Reporting Act defines that term. Material on the service and results from third-party tools may not be used for decisions involving credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.
Accuracy and Currency
Record custodians correct their data, change portals and fees, and expand or move digitized collections. Although we seek to keep the reference material current, no detail is guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current at a particular time. Confirm a record with the office that keeps it before relying on it.
No Legal Advice
Nothing here is legal advice. The service identifies possible records sources and describes how local rolls and directories may work, but it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed Pennsylvania attorney.
Lawful Use Required
Public records support transparency, not harm. Do not use information found through this service to stalk, harass, intimidate, or hurt anyone. Such misuse may violate Pennsylvania or federal law, including Pennsylvania's stalking and harassment provisions, 18 Pa.C.S. ยงยง 2709 and 2709.1, and it violates the Terms of Use.
Third-Party Search Services
Some pages include search boxes operated by outside companies. We do not control the results, charges, availability, or handling of submitted information by those companies. Their results are not consumer reports for FCRA purposes.
Links to Other Resources
Links may point to assessment and Recorder portals, election resources, court searches, library local-history collections, archives, and related sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices of any outside service.
No Custodial Records Here
This service does not hold a government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital record. It identifies the offices, libraries, and portals that may hold those materials. To obtain, verify, correct, or request a record, contact the appropriate custodian directly.
