Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer the request.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting service records routine technical information such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request. We review this information in aggregate for site operation and traffic measurement. Cookies or similar tools may also be used for basic analytics and, when relevant, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use the limited information described here to operate the service, investigate problems, understand overall use, and improve the reference material. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Portals and Tools
Links may lead to county and state record systems, library collections, archives, or third-party search services. The privacy terms of the destination control information submitted there, including information entered through sponsored search results. Review the destination's policy before providing data.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Hosting and support providers may process technical logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise necessary to operate the service.
Data Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes stated here. Because there are no site accounts, we do not maintain a password or account profile for visitors.
Children's Information
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe that a minor sent us personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask to access, correct, or delete personal information a service holds about you. The official Pennsylvania sources consulted for this location did not identify a comprehensive statewide consumer data-deletion or data-broker law, so this policy does not make a broader statutory promise.
